9/15/05 Skelletones show report from the drummer:
An interesting night to be sure.
On arriving we found that the front door was not accessible for
equipment unloading due to fencing put up for the construction
(or complete destruction of the street) in front of Skelletones.
We had to use the back entrance and haul the gear up two flights
of stairs to get into the club.
Needless to say that there weren't many people who ended up there
to see the entertainment. Not even half of the bands showed up,
just us and one other band.
The other band went on first and despite having fewer bands the
set time was only 25 minutes. When we went on the handful of
people all but completely left (not really in to metal I guess,
it is more of an metalcore/emo venue). So we played our short set
and hauled it back out. I have to say that is was a very nice
night in terms of weather for moving gear.
The owner, Murf, was very cool and even though attendance was low
we thank him for the gig.
