2/7/06 show report:
Ecch, we took a chance and tried out a weekday show. I repeat, ecch! People just don't come out for local bands during the week. Hey, you guys could have at least come by for the cheap beer! Since it was just Harvyst and us, we got to do hour long sets. Harvyst played first with their industrial jam metal which consisted of multiple effects on the guitar, some growling vocals accompanied by deep clean vocals, samples and uptempo to sludgy rhythms. A good sense of atmosphere. We got to do something that we don't normally get enough time to do--we got to play our FULL set! Eric the sound guy was nice enough to record our performance on CD and it sounded great and virgin tight! YEAH! The guys from Harvyst came up and rocked out to us during our set and their keyboardist Ian bought our CD! I hope you liked it! Shout out to Janet the foxy barmaid and Zombie Joe who became initiated to the fold with a t-shirt and CD. Welcome, slorgs!
