Thanks to Val for taking the photos!
This was our second night performing at The Rocker! I
wanted to debut a new song, but our drummer Erik didn't think we
were tight enough on it, so stay tuned for our December 17th show
at Ten Bells when we unleash a new song from our repertoire of
onslaughts! We performed our same set from last night with the
addition of "Unbalancing the Furies", the title track
of our CD. Unfortunately, I had trouble hearing the guitars
because the stage monitors were on the fritz. Albeit they kept
cutting in and out, we still played a tight set. We've since
watched the video of this performance and concluded we did a
great show! Kudos to the lighting guy who did a really kickass
job cueing the lights to our music!
Kayo Theory played after us and well, to be honest, I'm not a fan
of nu metal. If you've read our band bio on myspace, or checked
my personal site, you'll know where I stand. Don't get me wrong,
they were tight and in tune, but just doesn't do it for me. Iron
Pig set up and I watched some of their set, but I got word that
Aeternal (with whom we're buddies) was playing that night at Ten
Bells, so I cut out early on Iron Pig and checked out my
technical, progressive deathlike metal buddies Aeternal at Ten
Bells. Check us out at The Rocker on December 2nd when we compete
with the four other finalists for a spot in the KLQ Heavyweights
Battle of the Bands Competiton!
